Biggest Takeaway in the SEC

Dan: The SEC Championship (Alabama vs Georgia) will be a play in game into the playoff.

Jason: Georgia is and has been legit. Saturday was no surprise.

Zach: The SEC is a two-team race between Alabama and Georgia.

 

Biggest Takeaway in the Big 10

Dan: The winner of Penn State and Ohio State will make the playoff.

Jason: Michigan State lost one game… when they went to the CFP…. they lost to ND that year. Relax ND and MSU fans.

Zach: The injury of Wilton Speight saved Michigan’s season.

 

Biggest Takeaway in the Pac 12

Dan: Myles Gaskin proved why he is one of the most underrated players in the nation.

Jason: UCLA is too reliant on Rosen.

Zach: This weekend was yet another example of how Washington will continue to win until they play someone good.

 

Biggest Takeaway in the ACC (+Notre Dame)

Dan: The winner of NC State and Clemson will win the Atlantic division.

Jason: NC State won a game against a team that was rusty and without its starting QB… they are not legit yet.

Zach: Cam Akers needs to be more involved if Florida State does not want to throw this season away.

 

Biggest Takeaway in the Big 12

Dan: The Big 12 is the worst Power 5 conference, but there is still a very good chance that either Oklahoma, TCU, or Oklahoma State could make the Playoff.

Jason: Mason Rudolph’s Heisman campaign slipped considerably and has to win out to have a shot

Zach: The Big 12 is the worst conference in the Power 5. Outside of Oklahoma, the Big 12 has no shot to win the CFP.
