NFL Takeaways Week 8

Biggest Takeaway in the AFC East,

Jason- The Pats are banking on a 40 year old, who’s had injuries in the past, to stay healthy for multiple years.

Dylan- The Dolphins have officially hit the tank button. Although they are 4-3, they have a -60 point differential. They made the right decision.

Dan- Jay Ajayi might be one of the most inconsistent players in NFL history and now Philly gets to deal with him.

Zach- The Dolphins traded away Jay Ajayi, will probably trade Jarvis, and are losing Cutler at the end of the year. Hello Tank Mode!

Biggest Takeaway in the AFC North

Jason- I say this every week. The Steelers have the talent to be the best team in football. They have to put it together.

Dylan- The Bengals’ offense needs to figure it out quickly. They still have a good chance for a Wild Card with the AFC being pretty bad outside of the Pats, Steelers, and Chiefs.

Dan- Cincinnati needs to figure out how to block and how to run the ball if they want to be more than mediocre.

Zach- The Ravens defense was very impressive…or was it just because they played the Dolphins?

Biggest Takeaway in the AFC South

Jason- The Colts are a joke. It is a 3 team race in a battle of who can be consistent.

Dylan- Deshaun Watson looks like the real deal. With his only 3 losses being close games against the Pats, Chiefs, and Seahawks and an easier schedule, the Texans should be a playoff team.

Dan- Will Fuller is leading the league in touchdown receptions… And he has only played in 4 out of their 7 games

Zach- The new Colts motto: Suck for Saquon!

Biggest Takeaway in the AFC West

Jason- The Broncos are in NEED of a QB change.

Dylan- The Chiefs are running away with this division. The Broncos, Chiefs, or Raiders need to put together a winning streak soon to catch up.

Dan- Kansas City doesn’t have a very good playoff history, but there is just something about this team. They will contend for the conference.

Zach- The Raiders playoff chances are officially done.

Biggest Takeaway in the NFC East

Jason- The Eagles are the clear frontrunner now with Ajayi and Zeke being taken from the Cowboys.

Dylan- The Cowboys should have had Zeke sit out the first 6 games. Now they play the Chiefs, Falcons, and Eagles in the next 3 without him.

Dan- 4th round picks must be pretty valuable.

Zach- The Cowboys season is in real danger without Zeke. The Eagles got a HUGE pickup in Jay Ajayi.

Biggest Takeaway in the NFC North

Jason- The Vikings should distance themselves from the Packers in the upcoming weeks, giving this division a clear winner.

Dylan- The struggling Lions need to rattle off a big winning streak to stay in this race.

Dan- It looks like Minnesota is running away with this, but do not count Green Bay out just yet.

Zach- The Vikings are running away from the rest of this division.

Biggest Takeaway in the NFC South

Jason- What happened to the Bucs… I was wrong about them.

Dylan- The Bucs should probably throw away this season if they can’t beat the Saints this week.

Dan- New Orleans just can’t seem to lose, and I don’t see them losing for awhile.

Zach- Jameis Winston has been a huge disappointment this season.

Biggest Takeaway in the NFC West

Jason- The Seahawks are the best team in the NFC.

Dylan- Jimmy Garoppolo is not the answer for the Niners

Dan- Seattle finally proved they can put up points against a solid defense.

Zach- The 49ers got a steal with Jimmy Garoppolo. Let’s see if he works out.
